common problem | Solution |
Travel fault | 1. Increase the stroke of the switch. 2. Check whether the encoder is installed properly. 3. Reset the stroke. |
Full open and close fault |
Note: After the encoder or actuator is disassembled, the switch limit must be set before use. Failure to set the stroke may damage the valve or actuator |
Opening overload closing overload fault | 1. Turn the handwheel in the opposite direction until the overload is eliminated, and reset the stroke If the module has electronic torque, it may be caused by the torque value being set too small. 2. Check whether the overload line of the switch is connected properly. 3. Remove the external control wiring and only leave the power cord to power on again to check whether the fault is eliminated. If not, the module may be damaged. 4. Replace the torque microswitch. |
Overheating fault | 1. Connect the hotline correctly. 2. Use it after the motor cools down. (The function can be turned off and used continuously according to the site conditions) 3. Replace the motor or temperature sensor. |
ESD fault | 1. Check whether the ESD signal line is connected normally. |
Phase failure or The black screen does not display |
1. Check the power supply wiring and measure whether the three-phase voltage is normal. 2. Check whether the internal power wiring is loose. |
Regulating type Remote loss of message Remote uncontrollable |
1. Check whether the 4-20mA current signal line is connected properly, and take down the current input line to measure whether the current signal is within the 4-20ma range. 2. Replace the current input line. 3. Check whether the internal harness is loose or replace the internal flat wire. |
Regulating type The remote given signal is inconsistent with the actual opening |
1. Check whether the 4-20mA control signal of the control terminal current is consistent with the given opening. (For example, 4ma corresponds to 0%, 12ma corresponds to 50%, 20ma corresponds to 100%, and when it is set as reaction, the opposite is true) 2. Recalibrate the input 4-20ma of the actuator. 3. Adjust the actuator sensitivity. |
Switch type Remote uncontrollable |
1. Check whether the control circuit is normal. 2. Control according to the instructions. Note that the valve actuator does not act when there is a signal for remote opening and closing, and does not act when there is a signal for stopping. 3. Check the internal flat cable or connect the flat cable. |
The valve is opened or closed automatically when the power on actuator is not under control | 1. Check or replace AC contactor. |
No display when powered on (blue screen) | 1. Check the power supply wiring and voltage. 2. Remove or check the remote control line. |
Power on trip or Switching valve trips |
1. Check the air switch or replace it. 2. Check the power circuit. 3. Measure whether there is leakage or short circuit between the motor and the housing. |
Blue screen of switching valve or restart (Restart will display English+numeric code) |
1. Check the power supply voltage or power. 2. Check and replace the power cord. |
No 4-20mA current feedback or Abnormal feedback current |
1. Detect external wiring or equipment. 2. Recalibrate the 4-20mA current output of the module. 3. Check whether the internal cable is in good contact. |
No feedback from relays such as fully open, fully closed, remote, fault, etc Feedback error |
1. Detect external wiring or equipment. 2. Check whether the relay configuration settings have been modified. 3. Check whether the internal cable is in good contact. |
Switch limit offset | 1. Fix the encoder or opener again. 2. Replace encoder or opener. |
The local remote knob or key cannot be switched or No response of switch knob or key or Switch button or knob signal always exists (signal icon is always displayed in the lower left corner) |
1. Replace the key or knob. 2. Reinstall the key or knob. 3. Replace the key sensing plate. 4. Perform antimagnetic treatment. |
Incomplete display or garbled code | 1.Check whether the internal display cable is loose and power on again. |
